ABOUT US
The Jefferson County Historical Society Museum is housed in the historic Paddock Mansion in downtown Watertown, New York. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979, it was bequeathed to the Society by Edwin and Olive Paddock in 1922.
Our mission is to preserve and celebrate the rich history of Jefferson County. We care for more than 100,000 artifacts which are available for the public to enjoy and learn from. It is our honor to share the people, places and things that have contributed to our great county.
